Fernando is the co-founder of Compas on the Beat and the Chargers beat reporter for The Sporting Tribune. He’s the Chula Vista native who turned his “What’s Up, Bro” catchphrase into a podcast about the Chargers – “What’s Up Bolts.”  He formerly covered the Chargers for Sports Illustrated. Fernando’s hobbies are cringing at Gilberto’s terrible movie reviews, forcing people to eat California burritos and sharing stories about the one time he met WWE superstar Becky Lynch.
