The Buffalo Bills need a wide receiver after trading Stefon Diggs. Will they trade up to get Rome Odunze? The Compas share bold predictions for the first round

The NFL draft has arrived! We’re hours away from the Chicago Bears taking Caleb Williams with the No. 1 pick.
Chicago selecting the USC signal-caller is obvious, but expect chaos for the rest of the first round Thursday night. The Compas get together to share bold predictions for Night One of the NFL draft. Even Dan in Daygo provides a bold prediction.

Bold prediction: Buffalo jumps into the top 10.
The Bills are desperate for receiver help, so why not jump up and grab one of the big three receivers with Rome Odunze being the guy. I truly believe Sean McDermott is on his last legs so he will say “F*** them picks” and jumps up to grab Odunze.

Bold prediction: Broncos don’t draft QB in first round
This is not to say the Broncos are set at quarterback after acquiring Zach Wilson. He wasn’t even a good backup quarterback for the New York Jets. This is more about the Broncos needing to add blue-chip players to a terrible roster and not reach for a quarterback with the No. 12 pick.
Sean Payton should take his lumps for a season with Jarrett Stidham and Wilson. A rookie quarterback would likely fail playing in the mess the Broncos created with the Russell Wilson trade.

Bold prediction: Three predictions for West Coast teams
Rams: They trade up to take tight end Brock Bowers.
Raiders: Tom Telesco trades back in the first round for the first time as an NFL GM.
Chargers: Jim Harbaugh and the Bolts draft four of his Michigan players.
Dan in Daygo
Bold prediction: 32 players will be selected on Thursday
I really don’t care about the draft. “Why not, Dan?!” Because it is all for show. I don’t like show. Teams are going to get graded and guess what? Every month of the season that grade will go up or go down. Who gives a crap. We will know who can play and who can’t pretty soon. After this weekend, every team will have had a great draft. We will see in January who actually did well this weekend. It is all crap until they get on the field.
